The V. Pinard estate applies the strictest organic agriculture methods with the utmost respect for the terroir. Any herbicide, insecticide, weed killer or fungicide is strictly prohibited. This vineyard, located in Bu© in the heart of the Sancerre area, stretches over 17 ha of a plot called 'Les Caillottes™, indicating a gravelly limestone soil typical of the area which imparts finesse, pureness and precision to the wine. This Loire wine is made with 100% white Sauvignon Blanc grapes grown on 30-year-old vines and harvested by hand. The grapes are sorted upon harvest, then sorted again when they arrive at the pneumatic press, where they will be slowly, delicately pressed. The fermentation and ageing are entirely carried out in stainless-steel vats.
Ingredients: 100 % Sauvignon blanc
Utilisation: Serve it at a temperature of 10°C with white fish, shellfish or goat's cheese.
Quality: This pale wine is characterized by citrus notes and a fresh, mineral and slightly saline palate.
