Biscuits history
In the beginning biscuits were very often made by monks in monasteries.
Their preparation was closely linked to religious events for which a
large amount of confectionery was made.
Noble ingredients
HEDIARD uses the best local products to make its biscuits. Farmhouse
butter, almonds from Provence, wheat flour, cane sugar, spices and high
quality cocoa beans are the noble ingredients of these marvellous
sweetmeats: the crêpe dentelle from Brittany, the croquet from Provence
and the spéculoos from Flanders are some of our most popular biscuits.
Our already rich assortment of biscuits, cake and spice bread sees new
and exclusive recipes being added to it.
